Hi I want to rent out a house for a few months, has anyone ever does this? My fear is that i'll get someone who doesn't want to leave. Can I legally rent a home for 2 months, or on a week to week basis, giving one week notice to move? Can I draft my own rental agreement? will it stand up in court? i'm from Illinois, I have heard it all with tenants and I just want to protect myself before I enter into a situation. Thanks
