So we got a pretty good system in place so far and i was reading the book landlording on auto pilot and he actually has some kind if keybox he has there for tenant. My question is what is the correct way to go about doing this and should they be background checked first? I have them do the application fee on are website first $35 show them the unit and if they like then we background and credit check and if looks good then move them in. How is the best way to set this up so someone doesnt have to be there to show them the place? I have lock boxes on all my properties but there the same code and just feel the will end up loosing the key or something idk?
