Tenants Occupying REO
Found a soon to expire multi-family REO listing occupied by tenants paying rent well below market in Northern California. The price has come down several times (30% from the original list price) and property will go to auction soon if the bank does not find a buyer.
Before I entertain making an offer, I wonder is there a legal strategy to employ to encourage the tenants to move?
