House Hacking Strategies
Hey BP members!
As I prepare for my first house hack I'm coming up with new questions regarding how to make the process more efficient. I plan on renting out the bedrooms in a 4/2.5 SFH.
1) Would it be a good idea for me to furnish the rooms or do most people bring all their own furniture?
2) Where can I find lease agreement forms, and what things should all be included in it? I'm assuming they'll need to have their own renters insurance because my homeowners insurance won't cover their belongings.
3) I don't close on the property until the end of June. When would be the earliest I could start advertising the rooms? And what are some good methods of advertising in general?
Thanks!
