How do you use a VA to help manage your properties?

Hello BP's,

I'm working on a new podcast and we are looking to interview someone for our show. If you've used a virtual assistant to help run your business I would like to speak with you. What is the process that you go through? How many VA's have you hired before? How do you manage a VA if you are not in the same state, etc?
