Acquiring Maryland section 8 properties

Recently found out that a few small MF I'm thinking of purchasing have section 8 tenants on a year lease, which is fine, I just want to know what I'm getting into. Is there anyway I can vet the tenant before I go ahead with the purchase- verify some income, past evictions, felonies, credit, past landlord testimonials?

They are in Anne Arundel County and Queen Anne's County, Maryland. In these counties according to these two sources:

http://www.mdrealtor.org/Programs/Housing-Programs...

http://mccr.maryland.gov/Documents/publications/Pu...

*Anne Arundel County Executive Order 26 establishes the County Human Relations Commission, which has no statutory enforcement power but whose objective is to receive and refer complaints.

**Source of income is not a protected class in these two counties**

After these leases are up, is it possible to un-qualify these MF's for section 8?

Is the eviction process similar when the tenant is section 8?

BUT, in this below article it states that a bill was passed to ban discrimination in Maryland. Is this true for all counties or does it vary by county/ city like Baltimore / Annapolis or Montgomery / PG County , and come down to local jurisdiction?

Thank you
