adding non-smoking to current lease
Hey BP!
I just bought my 2nd rental property which came with a tenant on the 2nd floor who smokes. I will be honoring the rental lease that the prior landlord has in place, which expires at the end of 2018. However, the lease does not have a smoking policy at all. I run a non-smoking policy on the properties. My question is how could I add this to the current lease? do I create an addendum? The property is located in NJ.
Thank you in advance for your help.
