How to give my apt. a name

I have a little 7 unit and right now, it only has a street address. I would it to have a real name, "so & so apartments". I don't really care if its the legal name, I mostly want the post office & maps to rrcognize it. I'm not sure how to go about this and the post office and township haven't been much help. Thanks!
