Rooming House Has Coin-Operated Washer/Dryer
A family friend recently moved into a room in a rooming house. The ad stated that utilities are included in a weekly rate. He has since learned that the washer and dryer, which the ad said were in the home, are coin-operated. My question is if utilities are included in the rent, does it make sense to expect a renter to pay to operate the washer and dryer? Is this ethical? legal?
