Ontario - Adding a tenant to an existing lease

We have a unit rented to 2 tenants but they want to bring in another tenant to live there. Assuming we’re cool with this new person, what does the paperwork look like? The existing lease was made by us prior to the new standard lease which has to be used now. Can i add the person to the old lease? Do i get them all to sign a new lease? How can/should I proceed? Thanks for any valuable input.

Sorry wrong button.

An occupant.

And if they are left with the unit and don't want to leave then you still need to go to the board for eviction.

Have a look at the residential tenancy act on the ltb website (landlord and tenant board)

Hopefully this help
