Background check on rental candidate

Hey landlords:

We have a leading candidate for a property rental and had them submit to a background / credit check.  It came back with something interesting.  They had a dui, resisting arrest and possession of weed 3 years ago however the check shows the charges were dismissed.  Nothing else was on there and the credit check came back clean.  Is this something to overlook or is this a red flag in your opinion?
