Househacking Landlord with Tenant Problems

I am househacking in New York. My tenants have violated their lease and it is like walking in eggshells even just upon sight with them. I would like to find a lawyer before I proceed to ask them to leave to assure that I am covering all of my bases, any opinions as to any attorneys I may be able to ask, how much it may cost? Opinions?
