Do I need to do anything with insurance?

So my first rental will be the house I have owned for the last few years.  When making it a rental, do I need to change anything with insurance?  Prefer not to be sold on something else if not needed.

Sorry for such a basic beginners question.  Just trying to do things the right way.  Thanks

You must inform them that it will no longer be owner occupied and will become a rental property. Entirely different insurance coverage required.

You also need to inform your bank if you have a mortgage, prepare to have utilities in tennats name etc..
