MLS listed Rental dealing with Agents Representing Renters

I posted my rental on the MLS. I was told that one could find a better quality tenants on there, I also had great success in another market as well. However I wanted advice on how to deal with agents representing their clients, a lot of them seem to very guarded in relaying any information on the client and get defensive when you ask them common questions. Where as when I ask tenants directly there are no issues and less resistance. How would you advise to proceed?

Avoid agents, they only have their own interest at heart and generally will place any one with a heart beat. They know nothing about th eontario RTA or the LTB.

Advertise and screen your own tennats if you want to be sure of what you are getting. In Ontario it is neraly imposible to ever get rid of a tennat so make sure in choosing one that you are very thurough. Get signed up with a credit check company and if you are uncertain about a applicant post their general info on here and you will get opinions.

Basicly you tell agents you expect full disclosure or they can piss off, Best to not use real estate agents at all.
