Tenant Utilities-Move Out
Hi All,
I have a tenant moving out at the end of this month. However, they live in a city where we are required to keep the water in the owner/property manager's name and bill separately. Has anyone dealt with this in regards to billing after move out? Is it easiest/possible just to call the water company and ask them to do a separate read on the 31st?
Just looking at timelines, since we wouldn't receive the bill until after the security deposit was due back to the tenant after move-out.
Thanks,
