Powderpost Beetles Problem

I recently bought a rental "as-is". It has active termite contract with Terminix. But they are too expensive, so I decided to switch service company. The new company came out and did an inspection. Found the house has powderpost beetles infestation. The new company said it's better to call Terminix to treat it since I have an active contract, and told me even it's just a termite contract, they are still legally responsibly to treat powderpost beetles. So I called Terminix, they said since it's just a termite contract, they don't take care of powderpost beetles... So now I'm confused. Are termite company responsible for such problem, or they only deal with termite?
