Barking dog next door

I have recently bought a place and have decided to rent out my house that I'm currently living in.  There is a dog next door that barks constantly.  Should i Iower rent to accommodate the inconvience of my future tenants as it bothers some people.  I have become used to it and immune.

Why should you have to incur a cost for someone else's dog noise? Is there a municipal ordinance violation happening? You may be able to contact animal control and have them pay a visit to the owner if you don't want to confront him/her directly.
