Using Tenant Paid Water for Grass at Duplex
I have a newly renovated but still vacant Duplex with new grass that will still need watering even after tenants move in for March. Until just before lease signing I had not thought about this with water being in my name, but water will be in the tenant's name going forward, so do I need to be concerned about continuing to water the grass using tenant paid water? To cover myself, I added the following provision to my lease...
"... when needed to water the grass, Tenant agrees to allow use of their paid water to maintain lawn health and appearance as needed."
Good? I certainly don't expect them to cut the grass, but their's is the only source of water to keep the grass from dying.
