Lease Renewal Fee Charged to Tenant?

Looking for a property manager outside of Savannah, GA. I’ve had a few good conversations with one I like but they charge a $350 lease renewal fee - half is assessed to owner (which I’m fine with) and half is charged to tenant. Charging the tenant $175 for renewal seems to run counter to our long term interests (stable/long-term tenants). Do you agree or is it very common to charge tenants for renewals? The other PMs I work with only charge the owner, not the tenant. Thanks.
