Firefighter/Investor looking to be an on-site manager.

I am a firefighter in the LA County area, and live in Long Beach with my wife, and 4 month old daughter. My wife and I are buy-and-hold investors who have been self-managing our small portfolio. We are looking to move out of one of our duplexes so that we can increase our NOI. I was listening to Rich Dad advisor Ken McElroy, and he talked about his start in property management, and he said that he started as a live-in-on-site property manager. I had never considered doing that until I heard him say that. I admire how much a of a strong part of Robert Kiyosaki’s team he is, and am now interested in possibly specializing in property management. We already have some experience with our current rentals, but now we would like to expand our learning to a much larger scale, but the opportunities to buy our own large multi family are slim here in the Long Beach area at the moment. In the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki talks about how the rich don’t work for money, so I would like to do the same on a larger scale, and provide value for another investor who has a large multifiamily apartment complex. We are willing to consider different options with said investor so that they can reduce their management expenses, as my wife and I would be willing to do it without pay, but we would consider it if we could receive the benefit of free rent while we manage the property. Again, we already have experience with our own units, so we wouldn’t be brand new beginners. We also understand the perspective of investors. Let’s see how we can benefit you! And if you know anyone who may, I would be grateful for passing the word!
