Need Advice on Landlord Insurance

I am close to buying my first rental property. I've talked to a couple lenders and I believe I finally found a deal that works for me. I am trying to calculate my cashflow but one subject I still do not quite understand is how landlord instance works. I am going to obtain a buy a hold through hard money and then refinance. Would home owners insurance be enough when I refinance or do I still need separate insurance and how much does it cost?
