An involuntary bailment - obligations?

I evicted a tenant holdover from a property I foreclosed on and in the process he revealed to me that the tenant who preceded him had possessions in the apartments storage unit.

I have no idea who this person is and suspect I have been placed in the position of an involuntary bailee of that property.

Does anyone know what the respective rights and obligations are in the state of Maryland for this situation.
