Poll: Your preference; Low income or hoity-toity (tenants)
This is more of a curiosity/poll: do you prefer to buy houses in low income areas for the cheap houses you can buy, knowing you'll rent to S8 and get part-guarantee on your cash, or even just thinking you're doing good for a community by being a real landlord where there are otherwise a bunch of scum? Or do you prefer to rent in the richer areas where you'll have a wealthier tenant, who of course come with their own sets of problems? I know what I've done in the past, and why it worked for me. (hint: I lived in the buildings for/after first year of purchase)
