Verifying SSI Income

Hi everyone. I've already got an applicant for my latest rental, even though I'm not done with the rehab work, and there's no sign in the yard. That's a good thing, of course. However, she's the first applicant I've had with SSI income. This may seem strange, but I do not know how to verify SSI income. I could use some advice here.
