Should I Let My Tenant Buy That?!

Hi BP, One of my tenants keeps leaving the stove & oven on and the smoke alarms frequently go off... He has offered to buy a new stove with "lights" to help him remember to cut it off. I've thought about letting him buy one and giving him reduced rent until its paid for, letting him buy it and hopefully teach him to not burn the house down, or just buying one myself. I guess he could take the stove with him when he leaves, but is there any reason why I shouldn't let him buy one? Thoughts? Thanks, Coty
