Moldy, nasty kitchen cabinets

I've been a couple of times now to see an REO that's right near my own house. For the most part, it's in very good condition, but the kitchen cabinets are gross, covered with mold on the insides. The cabinets would have to be replaced, but is this a signal that there could be hidden mold elsewhere in the house as well?

If this is to be a rental, I certainly would not take the cabinets out without at least trying to fix the mold issue. I would fix whatever leak is causing the moisture issue (necessary for mold) and then spray the inside of the cabinets with Jomax. Jomax will make the mold disappear right before your eyes in less than 5 minutes. Mold almost never returns after using Jomax, assuming that you've stopped the leak.
