Anyone using Thumbtack to find contractors for one off projects? If not, how are you finding contractors?

@Steve Fitzgerald   I used them for years with good results. But for some reason, this year, I started having problems with Thumbtack contractors flaking out on me. They would set appointments and then never show up.

I also use Home Advisor and have had mostly good results from that site. Since I started having my problems with Thumbtack, I've started using Home Advisor almost exclusively.

There's a new app in Houston called TAKL (?) which is similar to the other two. I haven't used it yet so I don't have any comment on it other than it's there. Don't know if it's available in your market yet.
