First-time Homeowner/Landlord, looking for tax planning advice

Hello!

I'm looking for recommendations or referrals - now that I'm (finally) a homeowner, and renting rooms in my home, what's the best next-step to protect myself and maximize returns? I've heard starting an LLC may be the way to go, but am hoping to get advice or meet with a recommended tax professional to get me on the right path.

I thought I'd ask the BP community first! Thank you!
