Landlord failed to provide apartment

I’ve been given a 30 day notice to move out of current home , found apartment which I have paid deposit and said I could move in October 1st, landlord calls me yesterday saying he’s unsure of being able to move in because tenants aren’t moving , they said they would move out and gave 30 day notice to landlord , supposedly bought a house but bank didn’t give it to them( something like that) what
