Hi BP community, this is my first post ever in this forum and I'm sure I'm on the right place. I'm a tenant for 4yrs and I recently receive a sheriff sale note on my door that the house is for sale. My landlord didn't say anything to me about that. I'm concern about my security deposit ,which is nearly 3k. I'm paying him month to month. I'm worry about that after the sheriff sale he does not have any rights of the house. what should I do? Any chance to get my security deposit somehow or negotiate with him to take a portion of next rents until we move out. I would appreciate any advice or thoughts. Thank you so much in advance.
