YSK: Call Your Utility Companies to See If You Have Any Credits
Hey Guys,
So I was setting up my National grid (electric and gas) online account a few days ago and had to call in to get my account numbers. After the customer service rep got into my file and gave me what I needed, she pointed out that I had a $24 credit on one of my accounts. She then asked if I'd like it applied to any of my current balances. I would have never known I had that credit unless I had called in because NG certainly wasn't going to go out of their way to inform me.
So, if you have time, give your main utility company a ring and see if you have any credits floating around on any old or existing account. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Have a great day everyone!
