Ever use American Apartment Owners Association for background ck?

Anyone ever use this company? I paid the $50 for the nationwide search and had a terrible experience. The failed to find two felony convictions, and I had to argue with them for weeks to get a refund. Just wondering if my experience is an outlier or if others have experienced the same?
