Extending lease for a week
Hi BP community. I've got a question about leases that I'm hoping somebody can help me with. We have decided to sell our rental property and the renters would like to stay for a week after their lease is up which is when they take possession of their new place. Do I need to have them sign a completely new lease for such a short term or is there something else that I can do? If it's a whole new lease, can I just utilize the previous one and change the dates and terms? Thank you in advance for your help.
