Top Ways to Improve Apartment "Rent-ability"

I am looking for some budget friendly touches that can help rent out an apartment, or attract better tenants.

Examples include (USB outlets, updated digital thermostat, updated light fixtures/faucets,etc)

Any ideas? Has anyone had success with adding in anything small?

Thanks!

Curb Appeal is basically Number 1,, if the building parking area (no junker cars) trash area (neat and clean), grass cut,, flowers, shrubs trimmed.

If it looks good it will rent..

Smiles work wonders,, and Super Clean windows let the light shine in..
