Preparing my rental for Hurricane Irma
Help! (please)
I have a two story duplex that has old windows located in Tampa, one of the windows has a small crack and with 185mph winds, I'd rather prepare for the worst.
Should I put up plywood board or corrugated metal sheets to protect the old windows (house was built in '84 and has original windows)
Regarding upstairs unit what precautions should I take when finding someone to put up the board or metal sheets? What's a reasonable price? or can someone recommend someone who can help me out?
Any tips on where to even find the materials at this point?
Thanks BP!
