To LLC or not to LLC
I am purchasing a property that has two residential apartments on top and two commercial shops on the bottom. I do not have a LLC at this time. The building will be purchased under me and my husbands names. I was just wondering, could I form an LLC and then rent the property to the LLC . The idea being that the LLC becomes the landlord of the property. Or would it be better just to get in umbrella policy and not deal with the LLC?
