Can a wife terminate landlord and tenant contract?

Okay here's my situation.  I  am a wife who's husband is currently incarcerated and isn't gonna be released for a couple of years. But I'm losing my current residence,  and need to move back into the home he is renting out currently.  Can I terminate the landlord and tenant rental contract my husband made before he was incarcerated so I can move into the property myself without my husband's consent?
