whats the best way to screen and credit check a tenant? OHIO

I recently just renovated and turned over my two units in my duplex, and im getting ready to begin marketing for both units. I've already had quite a few people approach me just from walking down the street in the neighborhood and telling me their interested in renting. Im still a fairly new investor and have been doing some research on tenant screening and credit checks. I would like to know what the basics are of getting the process started, any fees that are related and how to properly set the whole process up. Is there a certain approach that I should take to do showings, and how can I effectively be efficient with my time if im having more than one potential tenant interested in renting my place. Are there any specific DO'S and DONT'S related with this process, other than not renting to people who have had past evictions?  Does anybody have and recommendations as far as websites or processes that I could use to look to model or follow?
