Am I requires to provide ID after giving lease term notice?

I have lived at my place in Nevada for 6months with a month to month lease. The landlords have been nothing but evasive since we moved in, they think its ok since they have a mother in law studio in the back with a tenant and a person living in the garage. We have asked them numerous times to let us know when they come in advance, as the back yard was part of our agreement since we have dogs.

Anyhow this made them mad. We dealt with it for a few months and have now given our notice to move out.  When we gave notice they got defensive and started demanding copies of my ID. I have NOT broken lease, nor caused any damages to the property. Even offered to schedule a walk through upon move out. I paid no deposit.

Am I required by law to give them a copy. I feel they are being spiteful and want it to cause issues or file un supported claims.

In addition I really don't need their reference as we are now buying a house in Washington. If it were under different circumstances that they asked, and they were not so forceful and yelled about everything then Id be happy to supply it. However in this case I think they have something up their sleeve. They are demanding it every 2 days for the last week and a half
