Umbrella Vs. LLC - liability

Hello All - - - My brother and I own several homes which are rentals all of which were purchased as conventional investments loans with 20% down. We both had separate umbrella insurance policies as we did not believe we could put the homes into LLC without the bank calling the loan. Are there other products out there to protect us from tenants and other possible issues? Is there a way to put homes in LLC's while personally guaranteeing the loan? - - - apologies for type-o's and or my horrible grammar ESL over here.
