Hello BP Investors:
I'm in the process researching regional markets to invest into student housing through acquisition, rehab, and rentals. Right now what are the top 5 regional markets that have the strongest cashflow within the student market space?

If you could include the following:
1. Name of school
2. Region within U.S.
3. Average rent per bedroom
4. Any relevant statistics within the school region

Your help upon this inquiry is greatly appreciated.

David H.

What is the best or top 5? Who is to say? I can tell you that the University of Cincinnati had it's largest freshman class ever in 2009. It is a rather compact campus so there is not a great deal of student housing close to campus. Rents are 350 to 400 per bedroom.

Disclaimer: I have a potential bias as I have one there I just rehabbed for sale ; )
