Can I charge first months rent for a property that I will be managing that already has a tenant in it or just collect my monthly commission. I need to know if I can charge first months rent for the property that I'm taking over managing that already has a tenant

Hi @Damien Ray

I charge the 1st month's rent to procure the tenant, and then a monthly fee to manage it. If you can convince the owner to pay you, more power to you!
