How would you legally get rid of squatters?
I live in Idaho. I have an upscale rental on the golf course and my tenant's life appears to be in a complete spiral. I am in the middle of the eviction process and I happened to talk to his former boss, who told me in the last 3 months my tenant stole $20K. She lives near him and told me her and several neighbors believe he has moved on, his old girlfriend and new people are living in my home. I only have a contract with him. And I doubt he is around. One thought is to just let the eviction process, which is not landlord friendly here, take its course. ( I have to pay for storage of his stuff here for a time, grrr)
Question: can I fast track this and some how kick out the strangers that are not on the lease, and if so, how, without breaking the law?
