Need help with a house with a rented detached garage apartment
HELP!! I have a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house with a detached 2 car garage with a studio apartment above the garage. Here is my problem: I am renting the house out without use of the garage. The garage apartment is a studio without storage so as a stand alone building I have rented that out. The house is advertised not to include the garage. The agency I have representing the house says 100% of the people that looked at the house didn't want it because they don't have access to the garage. I have a hard time believing people are looking at the ad that clearly states no access to the garage, coming out to the house, then saying they aren't interested because they can't have the garage! How do I get past this garage thing? Do I offer some incentive? Is there an agency in Charleston SC that specializes in this kind of rental. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.
