What is it about tenants and light bulbs?

I've only been landlording for about 3 years, so I'm sure this is old news to some of you seasoned veterans.  This morning I started turning over a single family that has been occupied for 3 years.  In every room, there is at least one light bulb out if not more.  One big room is so bad that 7 out of 8 bulbs are burnt out.  I have no idea how they actually used the space.  Are people actually that lazy that they would rather live in darkness than get up and change a light bulb?  I guess I already know the answer to that question but still am amazed.

The kicker is that I supply light bulbs.

The current vacancy opportunity will give me the chance to replace every bulb with a LED.
