Legal weed growing in apartments
We've been investing for the last 13 years in solid buy and hold quality rentals in Ontario Canada
I'm wondering how we can protect ourselves from mini grow ops in our apartments once it becomes legal to grow 4 plants a year.

You should be able to prohibit it in your lease. I disagree with others that say as long as it is legal they can do it. It is legal to have a pet and it is legal to smoke cigarettes. Both of those can be prohibited in a lease. If you do not want it in your rental then simply put it in your lease.
Because something is legal does not stop private companies from requiring a test before hiring. It does not force the NFL to stop testing players. Personally I couldn't care less, but you have the responsibility for your unit and are allowed to stop that if you want. You could have a no alcohol policy in the lease if you so desired.
Just my 2 cents and good luck in whatever you decide.
