Loud tenant, no neighbor complaints
What would you do in this situation? We are house hacking a 4 plex and have one tenant who once a week or so plays music loudly, with (I assume) a subwoofer. They are on the top floor of a duplex, so they share a ceiling/floor with another tenant. The tenants below them have not complained. I don't think the sound of the music is coming in but I'm certain they are hearing some of the bass. We only know about this because we live on site; we would have no clue otherwise because they haven't said anything to us.
I'm torn on saying something when there isn't a complaint. What would you do in this situation? Our instincts are to address the issue if the music becomes an obvious issue or if the other tenants complain.

It's possible the other tenants just haven't said anything, but are already annoyed. They may even be expecting some enforcement without saying anything because you do live there.
Because you live there, you are both tenant and landlord. If you are annoyed as a tenant you have the authority as landlord to do something about it.
