Tenants' responsibility over damage
Hello everyone,
My tenant just emailed me saying their dog messed up the carpet and they are willing to take responsibility and work with someone to get it matched and replaced. Is there something I should be aware of when I allow the tenants to do their own repairs? Is it their right to not do anything and that, as landlord, I have to fix it myself. In this case, are my tenants going above and beyond?
Thanks for any feedback! Have a good day :)
