Chain locks on rentals

Hi folks,

I had a tenant ask to install a chain lock on her door. Her toddler is getting out, apparently. 

I'm not keen on honoring her request since it may preclude entry by me at some point.

Does anyone have another solution,  or do most people allow chain locks on their rental units?
