Importance of a good description for rental house

So our first property is with the PM and I am not thrilled with the description his team came up with. There are typos, which he says don't matter. He eventually fixed one of them. Without saying so much, he says it doesn't matter. As a writer, I think it does. I just have this feeling that poor copy will turn off decent tenants and lower quality ones will take from this that we're sloppy.

He says that there have been a dozen showings, but all with section 8 (which he won't accept) or have pit bulls (also, he won't accept...and we said no pets anyway).

Am I just crazy? Is it wrong of me to create my own and ask him to replace it? I did email him to let him know of they typos, but it took a phone call for him to change one. The other I let go for now. Or am I overstepping my bounds since I did hire him to manage the property?

All suggestions and thoughts are appreciated!
